It was with great sadness that UIC learnt of the death of Anca Mitroi, Head of International Ticketing Systems Office for CFR Passengers. She died suddenly on 20 July 2013.

UIC wishes to pay tribute to Anca Mitroi’s work. She was involved in all UIC Passenger groups where she had a very important added-value due to her professionalism, her availability and her capacity to set up new systems.

UIC was working closely with Anca. In the last few weeks, she was very involved in the development of the new Merits, taking into account all functionalities, and testing the system within her company.

The UIC team would like to extend its deepest sympathy and most sincere condolences to both Mrs Mitroi’s family and the staff of CFR.
