Earthquake in Turkey and Syria

On 6 February, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey with devastating impacts that caused tragic loss of human lives and damage in cities and villages across the affected areas.

TCDD has conducted activities to help the people affected by the earthquake by allocating 14 passenger wagons with a capacity of 1080 people to Afad to be used to help citizens for accommodation and heating needs after the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş.

UIC expresses its deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims and their families, with deep respect to the rescuers who have spared no effort to save people.
