On 20 September a diverse delegation of young employees from ProRail headquarters visited UIC.

They were presented with UIC’s missions and structure at global and at a regional level (with the example of Asia-Pacific) along with a more tailored programme around issues of interest to them:

• Standardisation
• Research & innovation
• Project work carried out at UIC
• Passenger activities (high-speed & stations) &
• Freight activities (rail freight corridors)

Interest in UIC’s work was high and several business cards were exchanged.
