How to reach DLR
DLR is located in the north, a little bit outside the city. It is located closely to Braunschweig airport, but there are almost no regular traffic flights that take you there. The closest airport to Braunschweig is located in Hanover. From the railway station Hanover Airport you can go by train to Braunschweig Hauptbahnhof (central station) with one interchange at Hanover Hauptbahnhof (central station). Taking a taxi is theoretically possible as well, but would be rather expensive, since the distance is around 70 km.

- Intercity Hotel ( Next to central station – good bus connection to DLR with Bus 436)
- Deutsches Haus (very central – bus connection to DLR with Bus 413)
- Frühlingshotel (western part of the city center - bus connection to DLR with Bus 413)
- Magni Boutique Hotel (very central – bus connection to DLR with Bus 413)
As an alternative to the Bus you can take a taxi from those hotels, which should be around 20 – 25 € to DLR. Please note that Uber does not operate in Germany
